Endoscopic forehead lift is a plastic surgery that results in smoothing out horizontal forehead wrinkles, eliminating crow's feet in the outer corners of the eyes, smoothing out longitudinal wrinkles on the bridge of the nose, and lifting the drooping corners of the eyes and drooping eyebrows. Very often, endolobes (endoscopic forehead lift) is combined with a lift of the middle 1/3 of the face, which enhances and prolongs the rejuvenating effect. At its core, an endoscopic forehead lift is similar to a facelift, but serves to correct age-related changes and anatomical features of the upper third of the face. Often, the endolobe is a separate stage in the so-called "circular" facelift - an operation that affects all three "floors" of the soft tissue structures of the face.

The main advantage of the endoscopic forehead lift technique is its minimally invasive nature (low trauma), which directly affects the recovery period (it is minimal) and the camouflage of postoperative scars. With this surgical technique, 3-4 small incisions (1 cm) are made in the scalp, which are completely invisible afterwards (with the preservation of hair follicles to prevent the formation of bald spots).

The operation is very effective, the result of rejuvenation is long-lasting, in some cases it is possible to avoid an additional stage in the form of upper blepharoplasty (or to postpone it) due to the lifting of the eyebrow area.

Results of the operation

  • Remove or significantly reduce horizontal wrinkles in the forehead area.
  • Remove hanging, "frowning" eyebrows, and eliminate vertical folds between the eyebrows, that is, in the area of the bridge of the nose.
  • To tighten and smooth the eyebrows that hang over the eyes and age the face.
  • Get an open-eyed effect

Popular queries

When can I go home after an endoscopic forehead lift?

Endoscopic forehead lift is a low-trauma aesthetic surgery that does not require a long stay in the ward. Given this fact, many clinics discharge their patients on the day of surgery. It is highly undesirable to do this, as the patient should be under the supervision of specialists after the operation. At home, if necessary, they are unlikely to be able to provide him with qualified assistance. As a rule, the patient goes home on the second day after an endoscopic forehead lift. The period of stay in the clinic can be extended if a specialist notes deviations from the rehabilitation standards during a routine postoperative examination. In such cases, the surgeon takes a number of recreational measures aimed at stabilising the situation. If we are talking about regional patients, the duration of their stay in the clinic may be extended due to the fact that moving at such an early stage can have an extremely adverse effect on the patient. On the road, as well as at home, it is unlikely that anyone will provide qualified assistance in case of need.

With age, the outer corners of the eyebrows sink, which gives the face a gloomy expression and adds more than a few years to it. This aesthetic flaw can be corrected. In aesthetic medicine, there are several ways to lift the corners of the eyebrows: endoscopic forehead and brow lift, temporal lift, and Botox injections. You can change the position of the eyebrow arches with an endoscopic forehead and brow lift. The operation is performed through small incisions hidden in the scalp. Through these incisions, the specialist mobilises the tissues, tightens them and fixes them in a higher position. It should be borne in mind that during this operation, the position of not so much the tips as the entire brow arch changes. A more pronounced result of raising the corners of the eyebrow is observed with a temporal lift. It allows you to "open" the outer edges of the eyelids by lifting the tip of the eyebrows.

Professionally performed endoscopic forehead lift and brow lift surgery maintains excellent results for 10-15 years, during which the patient looks much younger than their age.
