Mentoplasty is an operation aimed at eliminating defects and asymmetries, underdevelopment of the chin area. It can be performed as a standalone operation (for example, in case of hypognathia, retrognathia) or as a combined operation with rhinoplasty. This way, a harmonious, balanced facial profile can be created.

Indications for this operation include both congenital deformities (asymmetry, atrophy) and post-traumatic conditions.
The operation will be performed by implanting silicone implants and micropolyurethane prostheses through the oral mucosa.
Mentoplasty can be a part of orthodontic correction of the facial skeleton.

Results of the operation

  • Correction of facial asymmetry (lower jaw)
  • Correction of deformity of the lower jaw
  • Correct, balanced personality profile
  • Correction of orthodontic pathology
  • Perfect image result

Popular queries

Can the implant become dislodged?

Within a month, the implant takes root in the cavity. If you follow all the recommendations of the surgeon, this period is enough for the implant to be firmly fixed. However, with excessive physical effort (impact), the implant may be displaced. Surgical correction will be required.

Restriction of general physical activity for 14 days. But in contact sports (martial arts), they are organic for up to 2 months.

The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty for the implant. However, due to age-related changes (bone involution), surgical correction may be required in 15-20 years.
